Louisiana, USA - This series of diptychs cover the Louisiana fishing coastlines of Grand Isle, Port Fourchon and Venice that were severely impacted in April of 2010 by the largest offshore oil spill in U.S. history.

The three main industries in this region are fishing, oil and tourism. All three industries have been severely impacted, leaving the people of this region in despair and fearing for their economic future. The region's fishing culture, that has for generations been a way of life, is now facing extinction.
